on taking care of parents that are aging and need assistance, i can attest that you will never regret the kindness and care you give despite perception of current difficulty... all i know is from what ive seen of you, someone did a proper job of fetchin’ you up, lad... not that my opinion means anything, but ive watched a human or two behave now and again, and you follow a good heart. im glad we crossed paths.
Thanks, Dudely. That means a lot to me.
When Mom and Dad started having difficulties, I made a decision to help them both as best I could because I didn't want to look back on this time and know that I could have done more. That being said, I do have days where I wish I was able to do more for them, but I did what I was able to at the time. It certainly hasn't been easy, but I'm glad I was able to help as much as I have.
Edited because I have fat fingers.

P.S. I'm glad our paths have crossed, too.
