i'll definitely give tenet a watch soon.

one of the craziest films i've ever seen is 'bubba ho tep', starring bruce campbell from the evil dead series. it's **** insane. if i even tried to explain it, i would ruin it for anyone reading. i highly recommend anyone reading this to watch it, with an open mind.

still need to watch Tenet
and haven't heard about Dropa

craziest movie I saw this year was Proper Binge, it's from 2017 but I somehow missed it then
storyline is about an alcoholic/dopehead who -as part of his therapy- goes on a crusade to apologize to all people he harmed while under the influence of drugs or alcohol ...
great soundtrack too

Good news on the vax front, that's for sure.
Hope the radiation treatments are going to be worth it for you. I've got my fingers crossed for you, buddy.

I had my first AZ shot on the 13th. I have no idea when my second shot is gonna happen, though. Vaccines are in somewhat short supply in this part of the world. Who the hell in the government thought it was a good idea to outsource all of our vaccine production capabilities a few decades back?!??!

In other Covid news, Alberta is getting **** pretty hard by the virus right now. I read yesterday that we have the highest per capita rate in all of Canada and the US now. We're number one! We're number one!

Damn, but I'm getting weary of this crap...

Bad news bro. Stay home, stay safe. Hope you get that follow up shot sooner rather than later. I’m sick of this crap too bro. Tired of wearing masks, tired of stupid, inconsiderate **** and their selfish attitudes toward the pandemic.

Yeah, I'm a little bit sick of the "plague rats" too.  >:(

This weekend one of the rural towns held a "protest rodeo". It was a combination rodeo and anti-shutdown protest. The news said that over a thousand people showed up, in spite of a public health restriction limiting outdoor gatherings to 10 people. Not a mask in sight either, apparently. I'm having a hard time being optimistic about things opening up significantly by summer as long as this crap keeps going on.  :(

Glad you're getting some rain, Jim.

We didn't have much snow here over the winter, and coupled with one of the driest springs in quite a few years, we're setting up for a dry spring.

Wildfire season is just around the corner. Several municipalities in the province already have fire advisories or outright bans in place.

We could use a bit o' the wet stuff, to be sure.

How you get some rain soon Dan. I imagine your brother would surely like to get some too.

Well, they're talking showers on Tuesday, and we got enough to wet the sidewalk this morning, so I suppose that's a little progress.  :P

Bro won't really want much rain until the seeding's all done. For the last three springs he's had to work in very wet conditions. He spent a lot of time getting stuck and pulling out machines mired in the mud. Last time I talked to him, he said he was looking forward to a little less mud for a change.

Moisture on the farm is important, but so is the timing.
The other take away is that a farmer is never really happy. ;D
