Glad you're getting some rain, Jim.
We didn't have much snow here over the winter, and coupled with one of the driest springs in quite a few years, we're setting up for a dry spring.
Wildfire season is just around the corner. Several municipalities in the province already have fire advisories or outright bans in place.
We could use a bit o' the wet stuff, to be sure.
How you get some rain soon Dan. I imagine your brother would surely like to get some too.
Well, they're talking showers on Tuesday, and we got enough to wet the sidewalk this morning, so I suppose that's a little progress.

Bro won't really want much rain until the seeding's all done. For the last three springs he's had to work in very wet conditions. He spent a lot of time getting stuck and pulling out machines mired in the mud. Last time I talked to him, he said he was looking forward to a little less mud for a change.
Moisture on the farm is important, but so is the timing.
The other take away is that a farmer is never really happy.
