glad to hear you’re having some fun!

^What he said!

I'm glad that you have a support network of family to give you some happiness in what's been, to totally understate things, a very trying time in your life.

Take care, Jim.  :-*

…Despite the health setbacks, I’ve had a good week and a good one coming up. My niece, her husband, and her wonderful young daughters started off last weekend with a long visit and it was wonderful. Gave her and her girls a lot of my late wife’s(her Aunt) things which made her really happy. Ended up gifting her youngest with a acoustic electric guitar I had had for a few years. She was thrilled as the starter guitar she has is a First Act piece of crap, and hurts her fingers to try to play. I taught her a few major chords and the framework for barre chords. Did my heart good to share something I love. They left yesterday for home in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Kind of worried about that hurricane headed their way. They did make it home safely so that was a relief.😀
Tonight, my niece, her husband and their 8 year old girl arrive from Massachusetts and will be here a week. Looking forward to that as well now. She knows I’m not in particularly good shape for any long outings in the heat, so I see museum visits, meals cooked here at home and just good fellowship. Lots of love too.
The Lad’s ride is broke down and now in a repair shop up In Huntsville, so I’ll pick him up there after work Sunday and bring him down home for a couple of days so he can enjoy the party. If most of my tools weren’t in my work truck at the shop, and I felt better, I’d have had it towed down here and fixed it myself. Oh well.
Anyway, my body is still **** up, but I’m really up mentally and enjoying life right now.😀👍🏻😁😎

Been off work over a week now. Have seen two different specialists and going to another Tuesday. Have at least progressed to the point where I can tolerate a brief trip to the grocery store without feeling like I’m going to pass out. Liver, kidneys, intestines, heart, still haven’t narrowed my issues down to any one point.

Getting old truly sucks.

Hope all of you are doing ok.

on a positive note...  i got to play music in front of living humans a couple of weeks ago!!!   i regularly perform gong meditations for floridas permaculture society.  one of my regular gigs is “world naked gardening day” at camp wildcat creek alternative education center.  im a regular there as the owner and i are good friends and the creek swimming hole has always been clothing optional... no big deal...   but i did think of you guys...  and how you would never believe..  lol..   amanda, a 32yr old yoga instructor from nyc flew in because she heard i was going to perform... brought a girlfriend from lynn mass, where i used to live because she figured she would love it too...  isabella wants to come live with me... 23yr old wood nymph from costa rica...  i mean can you imagine standing in a spring fed creek in the forest...  ferns, palm trees... crystal clear water so pure you can drink it from your hands...  the sunlight streaming through the lush green canopy...   a green glow reflected on three smiling faces as they ask permission to join me as the vibration of a 30 inch and 22 inch singing bowl tingles the nerves of everything within touch of the water...  “come on in, the waters been waiting to be this fine”...
