LOL!

Dust is amazingly adaptive entity.
While I realize you are talking about keyboards, musical.....My computer keyboard has a unique ability to accumulate dust in record time it would seem. I have a Logitech G510 which has lighted keys. Since during the week, I usually don't get to my computer until after dinner, I have a tendency to simply operate by the light of the monitor and the keyboard having lit keys...Kind of like being in a movie theater. I do have an over head light in the room....But I hate, detest, overhead lights. When the weekend rolls around, it's astonishing how dirty the keyboard is, how much dust has accumulated between the keys.
I keep an air tank in the music/computer room just for that purpose.

Also, the last guitar I play stays out of the case, and there will be dust on the peghead. it drives me a bit bonkers. years ago, I ripped out the 1" filter racks and put in 2" racks so I can use thick air filters, but alas....The Dust Abides.

I wish I had simply pursued the instrument I always wanted to play. Drums. Throw a sheet over them and you're good.
My parents would not abide drums...A flat NO.

no pics?

The Non-Believers permeate the Blogosphere.

Dinkleberg...Do produce some Microscopic images of keyboard dirt, dust and grime, that we may assuage the doubts of our Brother forum member and musical traveler.

Forgive me...This whole time change thing has me feeling sarcastic and testy.

Regarding dust, you guys would not want to look too carefully around my house. The cleanness thing was not instilled in me.  I will say that all through my adult life I've observed people who keep their car spotless inside and out.  Also their living space. Often, I've also observed that these many of the same people treat their bodies like garbage cans - consuming fatty and sugary foods with little thought.  I've always been the opposite.  At least since about age 20.   I figure you can always go back and clean the dirt off in one's car or home, but we're sort of stuck with our body (at least until Elon Musk innovates a mind/new body transfer).

Regarding the time change, the Florida legislature is working on legislation to make daylight savings time permanent all year.  So we'd have our watches set 1 hour ahead all year long.  Same effect as simply getting up  and going to work an hour earlier.  This would put us out of sync with the rest of the country (like Arizona - they ignore daylight savings time).  I expect the idea is that hopefully the rest of the states would eventually do permanent DST.  But if they didn't, we'd be the oddball state.

Ahh, if only it were mere dust I speak of.  :D

My studio contents get dusted regularly, either with a Swiffer or sometimes with the vacuum cleaner with the brush attachment.

What I cleaned off, I am somewhat ashamed to say, was 6 or 7 years worth of finger grime. Stuff we used to call "worm sweat" back when I worked in an electronics repair shop.

This bar cloth was reasonably white before I started this worthy endeavour.   Blech.....  :o

'Worm Sweat"...That's a keeper expression If'n ever I heered one. ;D

I think the Rolling Stones named an album after that condition.  ::)

I think the FunkTowel is sufficient evidence to alleviate any calls for  "Pics or it didn't happen".

I had a coupla Roland Juno Synths once upon a time...I miss having a keyboard to tinker with.

All i have now is one of these...
